I know this type of question is usually annoying. But I'm very worried. My period is 5 days late this month. It's been pretty regular the past year or so. I actually spot about a week before it starts like clockwork every month. This month I've had absolutely NOTHING and it's 5 days overdue.

I took two tests and they were both negative. This morning I woke up early feeling very nauseous. I thought I might be getting the flu but I have no other flu symptoms. The nausea has lasted all day but is not so bad that I threw up, it's just there.

This is making me very nervous though. What are the chances? No other symptoms, besides tiredness and constipation.

I'm going through the same thing right now. Only I'm 15 days late. I've taken 3 tests and all showed up negative. I'm going to get a blood test because I'm still having symptoms of being pregnant and my best advice to you is to get a blood test done. You could have really low hcg and wont be able to tell with a home test. Make an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can. It'll help you know quicker..

Hope everything goes well!

Well... Mine never showed positive until I was between 4-6 weeks pregnant. Both times that happened. With the first I was throwing up and really really tired before the test showed positive. So yes, you could be pregnant. Either wait a couple more weeks, or go to a doctor and have them do a blood test. Good luck! Hope you get whichever result you're looking for.

Todays tests are pretty accurate, make sure you are taking the test with your first morning urine (strongest concentration of HCG Harmone that the test is detecting) Wait a few days and then try again, if still negetive make an appointment with your obgyn and see what is up. COuld be stress related, new medication, or other.

Test again next week and it if it's still negative and you haven't had your period, schedule an appt. I know it's a long time to wait, but in some women , hcG is a little slow to show up in the urine.

Good luck!

You could be sick, and that's what's making your period late.
