I'm 17 years old and I will be 18 before the election, so I will be able to vote.
I want to become involved with the election some how.
I'm not going to lie, I am pretty clueless when it comes to politics, but I want to change that.
Politics have started to become appealing to me, but they are confusing.
So how can I learn more about them, and how can I become involved with the election?
Thanks!

This is a long list of meet-up groups:

Most of them are political groups.
Spend some time scrolling among your favorite candidates. Some may have groups going near you.
The Ron Paul groups top the list & there are 4 of them near where I live & they all communicate on the "net".
I've met some Great people and learned a lot about politics, the youngest member was 15, not counting little kids that came with their parents to events.
Good Luck!

You can be involved in the Student Poll Work Program in your local area. I was in it 2 years ago for the November special election, and I had a great experience. I received a 80-dollar paycheck by the end of the day. But that wasn't the most important thing, I learned a lot from being a pollworker, and what was better is that I used it as my High School graduation project and I got a 98%!! Further more, I had a enjoyable time with the fellow local poll workers(Usually older generations). But they also have a fun side.

- Go to the website of each candidate and learn their issues and position.
- Also need to see their past personal character and political records to see if they fit your ideals.
- Donate, volunteer and vote.
