Is anyone else somewhat disgusted by this?
Cashing in on a underage girl's pregnancy - does anyone else find this distatsteful??

Jamie Lynn Spears, Brat-ney's sister, is up the duff at 16... and it is possible that the father could be up against a statuatory rape charge.

This is what his former school are doing:

Is it me, or is that JUST PLAIN WRONG??!

Lisbet, read the question - I'm talking about the actions of the SCHOOL PRINCIPAL, not about Jamie Lynn. :-)

mego - agreed. That's not the point though. I'm talking about the boy's former school cashing in on this.

Why doesn't anyone read for pitys sake, LOL

I think that's a disgraceful example to set students!

Surely the school is responsible for protecting pupils? Shouldn't they be removing his photo altogether or at least postponing the publication for now? But instead, they're quite happy to cash in on a pupil's misfortune!

And we wonder why our kids are growing up to be a bunch of selfish, money-grabbing attention seekers with no morals, no regard for others, and no principles.

I don't know who runs American schools, if it's a parents' board, or trustees, but whoever it is, I hope they are seriously considering that school principal's removal.

I thought that, too. It would have been SO easy for nobody to notice what happened to her. She's not showing yet, and in a couple months, just back out lightly from showbiz, have the baby and lose the weight quick and go back to work, no questions asked. They already have the whole next season of her show taped... I think they only mentioned it for publicity.

First of all do you know how many kids have babies at the age of 12 let alone 16? Than people forget all the money she has so that baby will be well taken care of. Last but not least, why is everyone so down on the dad? I doubt he raped her so it is as much her fault as his. It's her life and her decision so why is everyone so concerned? I'm not saying it's right but there are bigger things to worry about than some rich 16 year old having a baby. What about all the babies being born to the kids on welfare that we all as taxpayers have to supports. Seems to me the morals in this country are going to hell!

War in Iraq.
Soldiers killed every day.
Recesion.
Mortgage market in the dumps.
White collar crime increasing.
Crime in general increasing.
Global warming.
Not important, what's really important is that one, out of thousands who pass inadvertely, teenager is pregnant. What does that tells you about the intelligence of the people from the supposedly, strongest country in the world?
Sad, sad, sad.

American values ? yes, i think so, sometimes they make American bashing all too easy, greed for the dollar overrides any other consideration,of course it's plain wrong, in many ways the USA is a sick and scary society .

Maybe ...its a possibility...that he just told them that and just actually wants to not get involved that way, so he just told them that he's waiting for a higher price but actually just isnt gonna let them get ahold of it either way
??
Butttt, if he really meant it, he's got some issues
He shouldnt do anything like that and if he does, maybe her bf and his family can do something about it.

in theory it is wrong, but in practice, he may as well. school needs money(though not sure if I believe that seeing as Mr. rich kid was enrolled there), as one of the comments said, why should the tabloids get all the money?

if they want those pictures, they are going to get them!!! why not make a bit of money off them? personally, I wouldn't do it, but I can see the principals side.

That IS wrong.
I know Jamie Lynn acted like an idiot and so did her boyfriend, but seriously.

I don't know if it's wrong.

It is funny.

It's funny that a school principal is "holding out for a better price" on a photo of some guy who knocked up Britney's little sister. Shows how f'd up the world is.

I can not imagine why she did that she had it all going for her and know it's all down the drain. she was suppose to be the good one in the family!!! She should give it away, or let her parents, take care of the baby........ she was irresponsible!
