What do you want to do? If you want to meet her then talk with her about it.

You have never met her in person, but she has completely changed you? Huh? How? Are you reading her books? Watching Oprah? Sounds kind of spooky, like how Charles Manson felt about the Beatles, or how Jodi Foster inspired John Hinkley.

Seriously, you probably already had it in you, and you are transposing it on a stranger. Be confident, and be proud that you are transforming from a caterpillar into a butterfly.

I would tell her how much she means to you and then try to schedule a time / date when the two of you could meet in person... See if you two hit it off as well.. and if so, try dating and see if she is the one with whom you are meant to be...

I'm in a similar situation.. I have fallen madly in love with a man who I have never met, but have shared so much in the way of emails and phone calls.. he truly has healed my heart and shown me that the man I could only have prayed for does exist... He is everything I have ever wanted, just being who he is... and we plan to meet soon in person... we are both feeling that this is the love that will take us through this life together and into eternity.

Just be happy that you have such a positive influence in your life and arrange a face to face meeting with her. If once you meet her she continues to be such a wonderful, positive part of your life and you're both available......get down on one knee and ask her to marry you!

If your free, you follow it up.
If your not, you apologize to your spouse for getting emotionally involved with someone else, and cut off all contact with this other person.
Or you pack up and leave explaining to your partner that you are already involved elsewhere.
Those are the only honest choices.

I think it's easy to fake who you are over the internet. Seems you are also filling in the blanks of who this person "says" she is other than experiencing her actual personality. In other words, we all know how the ideal person acts, talks, and behaves- but seldom does anyone ACTUALLY fit that mold.

Did she affect, infect, or Effect you?

You need to be clear on that first.
