Alright I know there are tons of questions similiar to this, but I just have to ask it anyway. This morning my boyfriend and I had sex, and I ended up lusing a towl to lay on. After he ejaculated, he went to pull out & the condom slipped off, spilling semen on the towel. Anyway, about 10min later I went to wipe up and completely NOT thinking, I starting wiping myself off with the towel. When I clean up, I wipe the inside of my vagina. It took me a few seconds to realize what the wetness was, & when i realized it was the semen, I pulled the towel away.

Now I admit, this was a pretty stupid move. I should have been paying more attention to what I was doing. But my question is, can you really get pregnant by doing something like this? I suppose it *could* happen, but really, what are the chances?? I don't want to get overly worried or anything.

Since it was around 10 minutes later, I think the odds of you becoming pregnant are very slim, however, there's always that small chance. Try to stay calm and not worry until your next period (stress can cause you to be late) and if you don't start take a test, but I think the odds are slim to none. (You could always consider going on the pill while still using a condom to lower your chances if something like this would happen in the future---neither way is 100% effective, but together the chances would be slim). Good luck!

a lot of people say that when semen gets into the air environment it doesnt last very long, less than a minute. however, nothing is 100%, there is probably a low chance, but just in case, get a pregnancy test in a few weeks and make sure, then go from there.

The worse the timing for a pregnancy to occur, the more likely it is to happen.
