It is sad but it is not surprising that this is what we encounter in the media everyday.
I don't know why libs don't pick up on how their fears and biases are being exploited in this way.
Like, last night, someone sent me a link to a 'serious' website that listed supposed 'Bush scandals.' The first line written started out, 'George Bush, our Connecticut cowboy....' I stopped right there and didn't read further. Wrote back and told the guy that I don't read such obviously propaganda, that I could tell the piece was unrealistically slanted from just that one phrase.
Wish they could learn to think critically. It would stop a lot of these senseless conspiracy theories in their tracks.

Has clinton had a facelift? Her face used to have more age lines.
Main stream media bias is to the left.
Vast Majority of reporters are Liberal Democrats, just look at the 2000 Election. Reporters said the Florida lawsuit started by Bush. Reported that USSC voted 5 to 4 (Court voted 7 to 2 that the Florida SC broke the law).

Actually I disagree with the cause and implications of this.
If you look at GW's campaigns in 2000 and 2004 all his promo shots taken by his people have his mouth hanging opened. This is proven to make you appear dumb. The current GOP strategy is to portray their candidates as the everyman who is not incredibly intelligent, but will make the proper moral choices and will have intelligent advisors.
The DNC likes to stress that their people have a higher education and thus are more intelligent-the education part is true, but the other is very subjective.
If you look at the full page http://news.yahoo.com/election/2008/candidates;_ylt=Ar.UYBx4ofPq8jqoLaL8BApsnwcF
and consider what each candidate wants you to think or forget about them its actually pretty fair:
H. Clinton is trying to look personable, which she is not.
Huckabee looks much like GW-steadfast and ready to fight for what is right.
Youre looking up to Obama-to give the illusion of experience and authority which he lacks.
Romney is obviously standing up tall, not attacking, just giving you the answer as he sees it-no bull****, just the answer.
Yes Yahoo is biased, as are all other news outlets-its impossible not to be. However these photos are very good and make most of the candidates look good or at least dont accentuate their negatives.
___
As far as biases go, when was the last time Fox referred to Obama as anything other than B. Hussein Obama?
All news is biased, you have to be intelligent enough to expect it and look for the truth through it.

LOL you are right the quality of the pictures, its true. But I don't vote based on photographs.
EDIT: Come on guys its obvious the top photos are sharper, crisper, and have more detail, the GOP pictures were half-azz done.
John a...Brings up another valid point, why does Brit Hume on Fox News Sunday always have the camera showing him rolling his eyes every time Juan Williams offers his opinions? What is the viewer to think of this?

Obama is not smiling... neither is Huckabee...
I think the photos are selected based on whether their trend is up or down...
The down trenders are not "smiley" pictures...
But to answer your question, I think that most of the media favors the democrats... as they should for a change.
Just so you recall - Bush was STRONGLY supported by ALL the media outlets who followed Fox's lead... even CNN... it was down-right humiliating what an error that was.
Now the Media knows to keep following the money. The Republicans are so narrow in their views that for an independent company to support one of them would alienate most of their clients and users... not very good for demographics, right?
I have to commend you though - at least NOW you are thinking about these things... where was this criticism during the Fox National Election of 2000?

In my day we called it subliminal influence. Today they call it news.
People are greatly influenced by photos of people smiling or frowning and it sticks in the back of the mind. When the uninformed go to vote they just remember the smiling face as more appealing.

Yes, yahoo has a liberal bias. Not every company turns over its members to communist regimes.

I don't think it's Yahoo's fault if Republicans are scowling all the time. Prove my ability to think clearly? You just accused Yahoo of liberal bias based upon the flimsiest load of horse manure I've ever seen in my life. What's with Republicans and the persecution complex? No wonder you guys scowl all the time.
