If you want to destress and relax in a healthful manor, inhaling smoke into your lungs is the WRONG thing to do. when a person develops a mental and physical addiction to nicotine, there are few things that can help them. But there are much better alternatives. For instance, taking a warm bath in dim light, lighting candles with pleasent smells, listening to piano recitals or instrumentals, meditating or writing in a journal can be very de-stressing. If you smoke, your body may develop a physical addiction that is difficult to break. But most of the time, the addiction is mental, where you think you need nicotine and you think it helps you relax, when in reality, it doesn't. This is just your psyche telling you it will. Finding alternatives to inhaling cancer-causing smokes into your lungs will help you live a better life.
Your best option is to stop smoking. If you need, replace smoking with healthful snakes, such as an apple, carrots, granola or other various fruits and vegitables. 99% of the time, those who smoke have stress because they smoke. when you develop an addiction, you are stressed when you cannot have what you think you need. So quitting smoking and excercising, eating healthy, and doing some of the above suggested activities can help you completely de-stress your life.
Studies show that excercising is one of the BEST ways to relieve stress in your life, and it also keeps you fit and healthy.

Roll up a piece of paper the size of a cigarette then take it to the nearest park, garden or the beach and put in your mouth and draw on it as deep as possible, suck in the oxygen into your lungs, give it the same amount of time you would give to smoking a cigarette, and feel the oxygen entering your blood stream. that should give your body a lift that is more lasting Don't throw the paper away use it again when you feel the need to smoke to relax.

Anything you smoke will damage your lungs. You will feel stressed if addicted to nicotine and don't get some. Try nicotine gum to slowly wean yourself away from the nicotine.

To relax, try drinking herbal teas, bubble bath, long walk, exercise, playing solitaire, doing crosswords, reading books, baking, other hobbies etc etc etc.

Sorry, but unless you're a practicing witch (or warlock) you probably won't have any smokeable herbs in your kitchen.
