You're giving your opinion, why can't she give hers. She is probably better informed than the average person just by what she has at her disposal. Anyone that gets lucky or works hard enough and pulls off celebrity, has the right like anyone else to talk politics or endorse the candidate of their choice. It doesn't mean you have to listen or believe what they say. I think anyone that gets celebrity should use it to promote their causes, whatever they are and I think celebrity has the responsibility of returning to the community. She does so in her own way and that is her choice. At least she gives back unlike Micheal Vicks who got off so light for dogfighting. He should have been fried alive for stupidity. How many people do you know that would give most anything to be a pro football player? No he's got to kill dogs in horrific manners. I applaud anyone that gives back and think it is the responsibility of everyone as they go through life. You just sound like sour grapes and trashing is the only thing you know how to do. Try some volunteer work and give back, it will make you feel better about yourself and those around you.

I am not the hugest fan of Oprah, but she has done some amazing things and some of it has been with her own money. She is a human being who goes through normal issues like anyone of us does. Instead of being so judgemental of someone else go take a look at yourself and fix what needs to be fixed. Your whats wrong with this society.

Don't forget that Oprah is so high and mighty about the shows she does to help people and how she tries to distance herself from shows like Springer. Yet, she knocked Phil Donahue off his perch for doing just those types of shows.
She's a hypocrite and a phony.

HA! I asked my mom the other day about that tax sh**. I asked what happens to poor people who can't afford such an outrageous gift. Not that her heart isn't in the right place. She is flawed, riddled with problems, and just doing the best she can in this life. I think people love her because they can relate to her imperfections.

She seems to have everything under control to me.
When she has problems she admits it and finds a way to fix it.
Why such sour grapes about a woman none of us truly know.

yeah she's way out of control with the partying, the drunk driving, all of the drugs...give me a break...I don't think she ever said that she was perfect, she's just has a platform to express her opinion.
