I agree with it being legal so there are no backyard ones being done but one is plenty as a limit and only really early, and have to have a good reason,

I was reading an article the other day. It was a personal account from a former abortion nurse - in this particular abortion setting the "mother" was a 15-year-old girl who was on her third abortion. Ridiculous.
Abortion to me is a very sad thing. It's 100% preventable, which makes it even more sad.
Some may wonder how I can say it's preventable. Some may say, "well, what about those who've been raped?"
Okay. Well, then there's the morning after pill. You can take it 72 hrs after being raped and it will work. It is NOT equivalent to the abortion pill in any way... it only prevents implantation which usually takes 3 days. Conception is definded as the fertilized egg implanting into the unterine wall, so this pill, stopping implantation, is a preventer, not an aborter.
Need proof? Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_contraception
Also, this same link will inform you very factually that abortions resulting from a rape account for only 1% of all annual abortions. 1%. What does that tell us? That the vast majority of these abortions are just after-the-fact birth control methods resulting from carelessness and nothing else. Again, ridiculous.
The ONLY time I agree with an abortion is when the mother, the fetus or both will not survive and there is avid proof of this with second opinions and the whole nine yards.
We live in a sick world people. What does the word "life" mean to people these days? Apparently not a lot from the abortion statistics. And in the same respect, the word "consequence" can't mean that much either.
All these people out there living the wild life, doing whatever they want, sleeping with whoever without protection as if they don't know about the possibility of pregnancy... it's just insane.
And it's like that because they know they don't have to live up to their actions... they can toss the would-be consequences out the window, have an abortion, and then a month later go right at it again. No worries... abortion is an option.
As far as your question on limitation, it's a very good one. It makes you think. YES, there needs to be a limit. Some people just do it over and over like it's not a big deal.
As far as the limitation... in my opinion, zero is a great number. But also, my opinion doesn't count for much as I'm not in Congress and even if I were, I'd be outvoted because the woman's "right to her body" (the same right she wavers when she has unprotected sex) will always have superiority over me, other pro-lifers, and most of all... over the millions of rotting fetuses in waste-disposal graveyards the world over.
Since the world is the way it is, though, and abortion is very much legal... the limit needs to be one. Learn from your mistakes, you know?
How can people ever learn if they're let off the hook time and time again? The answer is, they never will.
Bad thing for the unborn child... great thing for the abortionist's wallet and his Porsche fund.

There absolutely should be a limit. 00000000000000000000
And all of these people saying that putting a limit would be dangerous because women would just get back alley ones and possibly hurt themselves. To that I say WHO CARES. Let them get what they deserve. There are only 2 acceptable reasons for abortions, 1.) If the mothers life is danger, and 2.) If there was something severely wrong with the baby. And they could regulate the abortions easily that way, both of those could easily be proven.

Should there be a limit to abortions? Would a question like this need to be asked if the persons were born? How many murders can you commit and get away with it then? NONE- so the same goes for abortion, because it is murdering a life. Because it has not been born yet, does not negate that fact.

Abortion shouldnt be used as an easy way to get out of things. People take adoption too lightly. There are perfectly good people out there wanting a baby but cant have one! It's time for women to STOP opening their legs if they don't want a child! People in this country don't reap the consequences of what they do and I'm tired of it! People are selfish! And the disregard for human life that is now the "norm" should be changed! I'm really scared for the countryI dont think it should be done at all, unless it would kill the mother, or the baby wouldnt have a healthy life (even tho there has been MANY instances where the doctors said abortion would be the best and mommy AND baby came out just fine)....so take that into consideration also if you are in this situation. ....God works in mysterious ways and can do anything. So just have faith that he will work it out! ...gah.

oh and limiting a womens choice for her body??? give me a break....they gave up that right when they conceived...now they are resposibile for a HUMAN LIFE.....selfish people make me sick.... *pukes*

I personally do not agree with abortion.

But, by limiting the number a woman can have legally, she may decide to do it herself, or have a friend or someone do it in an alley.

Besides, how could you keep track? Its so easy to get a ID or Passport these days.

I think 1 abortion is 1 too many.

No matter what the circumstance the baby didnt ask to be murdered A baby cannot decide whats right and wrong, a baby cannot help wether it is conceived by rape or whatever excuse there is to have an abortion if the baby could talk nobody would be able to justify its answer "No i dont want to die yes i want to live"its not up to anybody to determine the life or death of a human being and babies fetus's whatever wether the heart is beating or not doesnt justify murder

No its is not your body that baby has its own body its own brain, heart feelings and future the world tells us its our choice but thats wrong it is not your choice its the babies choice and no baby wants to die

there is a good family waiting to love and care for unwanted babies they all deserve that chance

Yeah there should be a limit. 2 at the very most (unless of course they are becaue of rape or life threatening situation). I'd be willing to bet that if there were limits, there will be far less unwanted pregnancies, it would make people think twice.

I know someone who had 7 and another person who had 4. They had them because they were just too immature to take on the responsibility of having safe sex. So, sure, there should be a limit. But who can set the limit??? Its too hard to debate.

I think it should be one unless there are extenuating circumstances (like had one and then later pregnant and major health problems or raped, etc then a second should be allowed, but only under specific circumstances. I agree that abortion should not be illegal, but it should also not be birth control.

I think you should only be allowed to get an abortion only if you were raped that's it but you shouldn't be allowed to just go in and say I was raped time after time so I think my real answer should be none but only in certain circumstances should it be allowed if you don't want a kid don't spread your legs.
