Yes, there is a day called Boxing Day, but its usually celebrated in the United Kingdom, Australia, and in Canada.
Its kinda like Christmas..they give presents (in Christmas boxes, hence the "boxing") to other employees, the poor etc.
The US usually celebrates Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Other than that we can and do celebrate on the days coming to Christmas..ya know, just enjoying the Holiday season.

We do not have a 'boxing day.' Christmas in the States is celebrated only on the 25th. Sometimes, in years when the holiday falls in the middle of the normal workweek people will take 'extra' days off, but that's just an excuse for a long weekend.

Boxing Day is a public holiday celebrated in the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand and Australia and many other Commonwealth countries on December 26, the day after Christmas Day or alternatively on the next weekday after Christmas.

In the UK, New Zealand, Australia and Canada they have Boxer's Day or Boxing Day which is, I believe, the day after Christmas. The USA falls short in the Christmas holiday traditions of other countries, mostly because of business. On Christmas Eve the stores close early but they are open most of the day. 99% of all stores are closed on Christmas Day and then again on New Year's Day.

No Boxing day in the USA. Students usually get off of school a few days before Christmas and go back a little after New Year's Day.

Boxing day is a European holiday right after Christmas. It is mainly big in England. What is for is if you have a butler, they work on Christmas, but they get the the rest of the food in "boxes" and get the next day off to eat it with their families. So it's called boxing day because the people who hired the butlers would give them their food in boxes.

No "Boxing Day" here in the USA. We don't even know what that is. "Christmas Holidays" start in the USA right after Thanksgiving Day (last Thursday in November) and goes straight through to New Years Day (Jan 1)

There's actually a day called boxing day. It's the day right after Christmas. It's coined to describe the deadly tsunami in 2004. Read about it.
