You need the kind of man that buys you gifts and gives you money, does ALL the day to day chores WITH you, and is handy, fun to be with, has a great sense of humor and is decent.
When you find a guy like that don't ever let me know cause I'll steal him from you in a heartbeat.

Based on what? The basics hold true in romantic history.
First he must love you.If you bring him to meet your Dad and your Dad is cleaning his shotgun, will he stay and express his love or make for the door.
Next you and he need to discuss the future, it cannot be all spontaneous and passionate.
He needs to be a good lover, more desirous of giving than getting.
He must be willing,as you must, to commit to what ever life brings the two of you, all that he has and is, as you must.
