and would not go faster. I would let off and punch again to see if I could get more out of it. Is it regulated at 135 mph or was I just topping out. I though 'redlining' would be rpms being in the red (6500-7000). Any thoughts?

It would not have a governor, especially at 135MPH. It was just running out of horsepower.

ALL vehicles retroactive to 1880 should be required to have speed limiters at no higher than 75MPH. There are entirely too many idiots on the road that have no regard for others, let alone human life.
But to answer your question, either no it doesn't, or it has been tampered with.

If u wanna commit suicide why don't you do it in a way that wont hurt anyone else. I would recommend you sell the car and buy something you are mature enough to handle.
