Here is the San Francisco Housing Authority's website address:
http://www.sfha.org/

As the first poster said, usually the housing authority will only issue the voucher, they won't find you a place to live. However, according to their website, there is a housing list available here:
http://www.sfha.org/sec8/fulllist.htm

It is listed by studio, 1 bedroom, etc., so you can find out whether the landlord still has the property available (it looks like only 5 of the 6 properties are listed at the price that the housing authority issues its vouchers for).

Hope this helps! ^_^

You need to find a landlord willing to accept Sec. 8 on your own. The Sec. 8 program provides rental assistance help for certain disadvanted people, but it's not a rental agency. You get to find the unit by yourself and go from there.
