His ring work has been in serious decline since 2003, but that's understandable seeing as he broke his neck in 02.

But now his mic skills have really been going downhill.

He was great on the mic earlier on Smackdown this year and was cutting some of the best promos in the WWE, but sicne coming back at Survivor Series his promos just don't have any passion in them.

I guess he's just not running at 100% atm since he came back from injury.Even so his mic skills & even his wrestling arent at the same level before he was out injured.
He's now stuck in a pretty much predictable angle with Vickie & is set to form a new heel faction with the Majors. He's also in a triple threat feud with Taker & Batista.
Too much info & too much going on to really sell all of hiss tuff to the fans.Guess he needs time to adapt or adjust.

He is trying to sell a garbage storyline that has him trying to get a ring-full of talent into the mix. If this leads to a Team Edge, then it will make sense....but there is too much going on in the ring right now. Give him the mic and put everyone else in the background and he will sell the storyline very well.

Edge is one of the top ten Canadian wrestlers of all time. His in ring skills have been rusty lately but thats expected give hes just come back from injury. Edge is still the face of Smackdown.

I havent noticed it, he is still the best on Smackdown and if you say Batista is the best i will start stabbing jaws. Edge in ring skills i still great, and his mic skills are still incredibly good. Just because you don thave John Cena to watch and Batista lost the title, you dont need to complain.
