MAO ZEDONG was the leader of the People's Republic of China from 1949 - 1976. The Vietnam War began in 1945, and ended in 1975.
For those who have not learned their History yet - Ho Chi Minh was the leader of VIETNAM - NOT China.

Chairman Mao Tse Tung (Our Spelling) Or Mao Zedong, the way the Chinese pronounce it.
I lived during that time. I remember it well.
