I don't get annoyed by it, but do get annoyed by some of the grammar and the misspelllings associated with it. Hope this makes sense.

If it's repeatedly a problem, yes sometimes. The same thing with "its" and "it's"... "it's" is "it is", and I think it's shortened enough... why shorten it anymore? And "you're" is "you are", and that's another huge shortening... I don't like bad grammer... mistakes are ok though.

Yes, it bothers me alot.......OOPS
alot:
1. A non-existent word in any language.
The most irritating spelling mistake ever.
2. The retarded way to spell "a lot."
3. A lot. It's two words.
4. People like to use this non-word "alot".
:-)

I don't let minutae bother me; i found out long ago that life is too short to really care; and they wouldn't know the difference if you correct them. Hey, my taxes paid for their first education, if it didn't take, there is nothing I can do about it.
have a great holiday season

Maybe Y/A needs to add a grammar check next to the spell check to keep peace.

Yes, but not as much as when someone writes "you're" instead of "your".
ex. What would you do if you're cat ran away?
I ALWAYS read it like, "What would you do if you are cat ran away?" and it pisses me off!

yeah it does. the rule isn't so hard people, if you can say you are in the sentence it's you're. but no one really thinks when they're typing.

Everyone makes spelling errors on occasion, but, for the most part, yes, it annoys me.
Don't forget "their", "there", and "they're".
And "loose" and "lose".
