I wouldn't be unreasonable by saying no stores would have them in stock. There is a huge demand and a short supply. You'd be lucky if you were able to get up early in the morning, wait outside of the store when a shipment comes, and be able to get one. Coming January, Game Stop will allow people to reserve a copy of the Wii, and they promise to fill any orders placed in January.

This is an unconfirmed rumor, but i hear that walmart has them in stock, but they are not advertising it in the paper, and they are only putting out so many per day. Along with Toys r us. Same deal. I don't think you can order them from Nintendo, seen as how we tried that last week, and there was no place on their site that has a wii to buy, only accessories. You can get one on ebay, but they are $400 and up. You are going to have a heck of a time finding one at regular price.. you can order them from Walmart.com but you have to spend like $700 for the bundle. Which is actually a pretty good deal considering between my Wii, extra controllers and games i spend close to $8-900. I just got mine last week, I found an ad in the classifieds locally...
you could check craigs list, or your local classifieds, but you will not geth them at retail price.

i have no idea where alton IL is but i live in the Illinois Valley close to LaSalle and Peru Illinois, they have a Walmart Supercenter here and i seen the Wii's are in stock 2 days ago.

Good luck trying to get on at a store. I heard the only way to get is to camp out in front of the store! But you can try ebay

Its surely fairly ordinary yet not. at the beginning get your Sunday classified ads for shops. If a type of Sunday classified ads say they have it they might desire to have IT in any different case ITS a criminal offense. verify in Sunday morning of that week (like a million hour beforehand the keep opens because of the fact there'll be a line). i attempted this final week and it worked!

Your best bet is Ebay.
Wii is still selling out pretty much everywhere.
Gamestop, Walmart, etc.
I got mine last year on the day it came out.
It's fun and a good Christmas gift.

Try buying one from an other country
Here in Australia they are very easy to find
But make sure they play (NTSC FOR USA)
