Essentially, yes; but some of them might have different combinations of cleaning agents in them. In the end, they all do the same thing.

I saw a recent Consumerś Report on laundry detergent... and I saw that out of all the liquid detergents (and dry detergents) tested, Tide with Downy softener as part of the Tide did the best job of any of actually cleaning the clothes. Thatś what I buy now, and I have been very happy.

To a certain extent they are the same. Some have color safe bleach in them, some have different fragrances. But as far as one brand being different from another - probably not. I've heard they just make the detergent and then use different labels on the bottles.

no they are all different. you want on that will actually clean the clothes and not just look at them.

its mainly a matter of personal preference or what the familys used before when you were younger.

some have different amounts of different chemicals which all do different at cleaning power. also fragrance. you might not like a certain fragrance therefore dont buy that detergent.

i like to buy what i havent bought in a while . also it has to smell nice and actually clean the clothes.

what I know is that the ability to get things clean is the ability of the soap or cleaner to breakddown the water molecular structure so it can past thru fabric or the pores in uour skin to carry the dirt off, that is the truth, the soap and cleaner dont clean anything, it is the chemicals they put in the cleaners that will absorb into the envirement and u ,that have the abilitytobreak down the water to carry the dirt off
