My hubby & I have been ttc for a while (he has low sperm count) and I just need to hear some of your success stories to give me hope. I have cried on the toilet so many months after a negaitve HPT, that I feel like giving up. Thanks & Merry Christmas everyone!

My hubby and I tried for 2 years, and then adopted/from foster care. Our son is now 23months old, but I still have the desire for a biological child. We are trying again the "natural" way before looking into AI or IVF.

Merry Christmas to you too! I want to give you hope! Im not kidding when I say this, It is my name! My husband and I have been trying for over 3 yrs. It would be 4 in March. We started to see a specialist in Aug. We had tests and tests and tests. Well I have a blocked right tube! Because we have been trying so long they wanted me to have surgery right away! I said NO... Then after watching my Ovulation for 3 months and using clomid for 2 months, they said that I would in no way ever get pregnant with having the surgery. I was only ovuating on my right side where the blocked tube is. SOOO after I cried and thought to myself... I said FINE. I will do it. I explained to my hubby that after the surgery I wasnt going to try anymore. If it happens it will happen. I am DONE... We are started to talk about adoption for next summer. I went in for my clomid check on Dec. 5th I had a negative blood test on Dec. 4. We scheduled the surgery for Dec. 19th. When they called to tell me the date and time on Dec 10th they asked if I had started my period and I hadnt! They said that they wanted to retest on Dec 12th and see what it says before they finish scheduling the surgery. Well It came back VERY positive!

So.... Just keep your head up... Its a mircale that I am pregnant... and I found out this morning Its TWINS!!! As my mom put it, Double for our trouble! Baby dust to you and keep your chin to the ski!

Again Merry Christmas!

My mom had about 7 or 8 miscarriages in one year, and decided to go to a fertility specialist... again they couldn't help and it didn't work, so she tried again with out and now almost 3 years later, I have a baby sister... it's wonderful. Just be patient and don't give up, and I promise, something will come your way. If you give up, then you'll never know if this next time it could be it. :) Good luck and Merry Christmas to you too!

It's sad to hear about the things you're facing. But anyway, i'll try my best to share with you on what i know.

Instead of only one method, try multiple methods. Consult your doctor about what can be done to increase your success in this matter.

Try to ease yourself as your spouse may be under a lot of stress as well. Try a get away, try to have some time alone with him, just keep on trying and who knows, this is the season of miracles, right, maybe something good is going to happen soon. Merry Christmas.

I'm not yet a success story, but I'm preparing for a second try at IVF.

For my case, my fertility doctor didn't even suggest natural methods, instead going direct with IVF. He felt that its a waste of time considering our age.

My first try didn't work but at least we had a much better understanding of our problems and the whole IVF process. And we don't intend to give up hope yet. I do hope you won't give up too.

Why not try a new doctor for a change?

About 20 years ago, I was told I most liekly would never have children. When I was 22, I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. This was followed by 7 years of SERIOUS TTC...BBT charting, RE visits, clomid etc. At 34 years old (different husband) I gave birth to a baby boy. At 35 another girl.

It took over 2 years for my husband and I to conceive our son! We stopped a from time to time b/c of stress. Then one month when I was least expecting it I found out I was pregnant. Implantation bleeding cued me in! My son now is only 16 months old and my husband and I have been trying for 5 months b/c we know it can take some time and we dont want them to be too far apart in age! Just try to relax and it will have. I wish you lots and lots of luck.

merry christmas and baby dust...

no success story to speak of...
but i'm having a down moment and can't sleep after a BFN...
still hopeful that it's just that my excitement from coming home from the dollar tree with cheap HPTs made me test at the wrong time... so i'll be testing again with FMU insteady... staying hopeful.

Stay hopeful, positive, and count your blessings.

once again MERRY CHRISTMAS =)

My sister-in-law was to the point of trying artificial impregnation until they finally conceived on their own. I would encourage you to not only look at artificial incemination procedures, but look into adoption as well! There are thousands of children who need loving homes, and if I was unable to have one of my own, I would still want a child to share my home and love with and they would still be just as "mine." Know what I mean? Keep trying, but you don't want to end up damaging or hurting your body just to have a baby. If it isn't meant to be, maybe God has other plans for you and your husband... it may include adoption.

hey, kids are an amazing thing, and can't wait till i concieve one in the future. i can understand why you'd be so down after not succeeding. just know that all this work is definitely worth it, and don't stop trying. its just probably bad luck, but eventually, the baby will come!! good luck, i hope it goes good for you! Merry Christmas!

My husband and I've been ttc for over 1.5 years. I had a miscarriage in May and am finally preggo now. I feel your frustration in trying to have a bio child but it will happen? Have you been to a fertility doctor? Tried Clomid? I have been on Clomid for almost the 1.5 years straight and when we decided to stop for awhile, we got preggo. Don't stress out (I know from experience) and it will happen! It did for us. Good luck!
