my internet on my desktop isn't working while my internet on my latop works,?

i recently put in a password on my router to protect it and since my latop is vista and im more fimiliar with vista i new how to enter the password in, can any one tell me how to enter the passowrd into the desktop so it will work

Read the router User Manual and follow the step by step instructions.

It does explain exactly how to set your WPA (Great) or WEP (Sucks) password by OS.

Read your laptop User Manual, too.

What are you running on your desktop? Windows XP, 2000, etc.?
