Game 6, Stanley Cup Final, Tampa Bay @ Calgary Flames
The puck deflected off of Martin Gelinas' skate and 'appeared' to cross the goal line, according to CBC and ABC slow motion replay. But because the play was never officially reviewed, it was a dead issue the moment the puck was dropped for the next faceoff.
Was it in?

TBL: Interesting video. However, the puck wasn't in the air. It was flat against the ice.

It was officially reviewed in Toronto while the game was going on, there was no conclusive evidence the puck crossed the line. The angle on the #12 and #14 cameras (used by CBC and ESPN/ABC) were not on a plane that was consistent with the puck/ice interface. Therefore the evidence was not conclusive.

I say Goal
But since St. Louis and Vinny even Ron Maclean BF (Brad Richards) were on the Bolts no goal. Oh yeah the 04' Ray Bourque err Dave Andrychuck who the hell in the AHL I mean NHL would want to see a Canadian team win the Cup.

there is inconclusive evidence to prove it ever really fully crossed the line, therefore we may never know if it fully in the net

Yeah dude get over it, you should be worried with current issues, like losing the NW to the Avs, instead of worrying about the past.

I can't remember yesterday, let alone 04' BUT I am going to say it wasn't in because it didn't show up on the scoresheet so it's all for not.

"The NHL absolutely made the right call, there's no way they could say it was conclusively over the line."
EDIT - If you're looking for an argument, I'm not giving you one. It was game 6! At that point, the game was tied. The Flames had the rest of that third period, and an entire Overtime to beat. They also had game 7. They did not beat us. We won. We were the champions.
This is all the past now.
