The reason I ask is cause I had to work 15 hrs from 3 am to 6 pm and then the next day I had to work at 3 am again?

Is that all? You must be lazy. Just kidding. There is nothing illegal about it. I did 32 hours straight once. I was tired but my check that week was fat. Suck it up and enjoy payday.

I'm not positive for California but you can work 24 hours in a 24 hour period in Ga.
AND.
You can be paid for more than 24 hours if you figure time and a half or doubletime for anything over 8.

two consecutive 8 hr shifts with mandatory 8 hrs off. Does not apply to DOT (CDL) drivers who have 8 hr max. shifts with 4 hr breaks.

Actually, you don't HAVE to work there a single hour... you can always quit...
