Ok I like tight pants but I've never bought any because I'm too self-conscious/afraid of how my friends and family will react. I'm positive they'll all laugh and make jokes and tease me and I don't think I could deal with that. I'm also especially afraid of, if I got the courage to ignore friends/family, to go into a store and buy some. I don't think I could go to a store and go buy jeans out of the girls department (the guys dep. doesn't have tight ones, they stock the mad baggy ones.) I really like they way they look though, please help!

No, if you are a boy-boy DO NOT buy jeans in the girl's department.
Teens and young men are starting to wear better looking pants than they have in the past few years, meaning the BAGGY look is finally going out!!! Thank God! That style is so unflattering to anyone who wore them.. Not only does it make you look stupid it makes you look like a gangster type on the west side of the wrong street.
Don't go back to that look but do go to some department stores that carry the lates styles. There are many jean manufacturers that have several styles to choose from. Levis, Wranglers, lee. to name a few.
Shrink to fit will make them tight... Levis makes them so buy them tight to begin and extra long... Good Luck.

Go to a store and try some things on to see if tight pants look good on you. Some people are going to like the look and some aren't going to like at it all; but that's really not your problem, it's theirs.

Tight pants r awsome i shop in the girl section of the store all the time ^_^ no one rly cares or looks at u twice so it dosnt matter much wear what u wanna screw everone else!

Well, if you like tight pants but you're afraid to buy them, maybe that means you're afraid of what people will say to you. You should never worry about what other people say to you or about you. Just wear them and feel confident.

I was really self concious to wear them too. I have 4 pairs now, and I have gotten about 20 compliments. DOn't worry about how people are going to think of you. You ain't gunna know most of them in a few years anyway.

hmmm skinny jeans are nice at hot topic but don't get then too tight, look for things like anthem and garage fit, also depending on your financial status metropark has wonderful pants, but it is really hard to find there stores so you might just want to shop online

i do it all the time, i take my mom with my when i do it too. just go to urban outfitters they have guys skinny jeans. but i like the way the girls ones fit better im kina too skinny for the guys ones now. lots of people do it. they are mean to me in West49 when i do it, but there snarky so w/e the guy at jean machine was totalyon board with it, he was like yah omg these ones will fit you better, and i mean you just take them walk into a change room. or get the people to unlock it for you or w/e if its one of those places where they count items, just fold them so they can really tell how big it is. but you will get some strange looks at first. people will be like omg you emo. just ignore it, keep doing w/e you were doing, and if they question.torment you too much, just be like at least im skinny enough to pull it off fatass (you better be skinny, you have to be like a girls 24-27 to pull it off well)
edit: im kina bored so im going to continue on this. ok so the first pair of girls jeans i bought were from stitches (cheap quality girls and guys stuff, kina kina a forever21 only cheaper) and well i got them off the clearence rack, and then only two sizes they had were a size 3 and 00. i actually would fit in a 00 from there, not incredibly well, but i could. but it was my first pair, so i went with the 3. and well we walked out of the change room (me and 2 of my frinds (girls) and im in these girls skinny jeans. one of them is in a pair of skanky overalls, and yah the store lady (who was like 2 years older than use, we were 13 at the time) was just like. ummmmmmm.
i still have that pair, they are hudge, they feel like bags, always feel gross on because they are so big lol. the butt is so hudge in them i can use it like an extra pocket (alothoug i dont....) now i have 8 pairs of skinny jeans all girls. from various places, silver jeans fit guys really well, to get your size (aprox) measure aound you belly button, whatever # you get take a couple inches off, because men have bigger waist and smaller hips so we have to guess at our size in womans pants alot more lol , but if it rund 1,2,3,4,5, etc, then take the # subtract 25 from it. and thats the size you get.if your a guys 28, your probably a 0-1 if your a 30your probably a 2-3 if your a 32 your a 5-6 anything higher and you shouldnt be wearing skinny jeans

Either just do it... or you can try making a transition to tighter pants. If you just keep getting tighter and tighter ones, most people won't even notice the change.
