There are no facts, he could not have done a worse job if he was intentionally trying to screw everthing up.
This BS about him inheiriting a economy in resession is irritating. There was a huge surplus when he came in, matter of fact him and Gore spent about half the 2000 campaign arguing how to use the surplus, Bush of coarse wanted to give it back to the rich in the form of tax cuts, (reward the people who gave us this wonderful economy!!!) Gore wanted to invest it in American intrastructure, (fix the roof while the sun is shining), little did we know of the storm Bush was about to unleash on us.
And who really won the 2000 election, which one of the two is going to be remembered as a man with vision and admired for his efforts to make the world a better place and which will only be a sorry failed footnote when the history is written.

Is your teacher a Bush supporter? Then you will have to find something to back of your claim. If you like or believe Bush is a good president then you are on your own. If your topic was about Bush being a bad president. I would be happy to write a fifty page paper on that subject. You will probably find a few staunch Bush supporters who will help you out with the so-called "good" president suff. Just remember they are the same minority that elected the loser in the first place.

Good luck. i dont think you'll find any with actual facts that support him as a good president. However you might get some false answers from the bush lovers.
Tax breaks created good economy?? Dont think so unless you count the oil economy. drug prescription plan is a failure and cost double. Seniors cant even get the proper medicine because some of the meds are not covered. what planet you on?

What you really need to do is look at how Gore or Kerry would have stood up against 9/11, energy problems, global warming, other terrorist atttacks, Enron, Worldcom, Blackwater, etc, etc, etc.
When you look at what COULD have happened, Bush hasn't done too bad.

The only issue on which Bush was correct was immigration. Unfortunately, the Republican base would have no part of this logical platform, so the program was defeated.

He inherited a recession (as attested to by most economists and Bill Clinton himself admitted the recession started near the end of his last term) Between the recession and 9-11, the economy would have been (and probably still would be) devastated had it not been for Bush tax cuts at the beginning of his term. In this instance, he took a page from Ronald Reagen, and it was good for the US
