I notice that some of you are having it at Christmas, but I have never heard of it. (I am English)

Hi Shan, you've already got all the answers about the spiral cut, the one thing I noticed people failed to mention is that is also pre-cooked. You can heat it at 325* and add a glaze if you wish. Most pre-cooked spiral hams have a glaze package included. These hams are delicious

Merry Christmas

Hi Shan,

It just means that the ham is pre-cut in a circular fashion around the bone at the center. The ham is still whole and the bone in the middle holds the ham together. Other hams are usually cut straight down and have no bone.

Merry Christmas!

The ham is cut around in a continuous circle. It looks fancy, but I prefer a regular Kunzler ham.

It have the bone so the cut around in like a screw type way as not to cut the bone, but, pre-slice the ham.
With the way it cut it like a "Slinky" toy. The ham meat is still all connected.
