Besides my husband? Okay, I just got it (it was delivered to his work, because we have an impossible apartment to deliver to (up three flights of stairs) and it is NOT something I would have ever dreamed of owning, but it is DEFINITELY the best. I am a 'totally addicted reader' you see, but because I have rheumatoid arthritis, I can't always hold a large book comfortably, and because I have vision difficulties, I find it difficult to read books with small print. My husband has bought me an eReader for Christmas (yes, he told me in advance, because I HATE SURPRISES, and he let me open it tonight, and it's now 'charging' so I can use it when I go to bed tonight) ... it's GORGEOUS. It's silver, with a nice brown 'leathery cover' and it weighs all of 9 ounces. I can change the size of the letters, so I can read comfortably, and even though it's computer technology, it's not 'back lit' but looks like any page of a book (except for the neat controls around the screen, of course) ... and I am BEYOND HAPPY right now. All I wanted for Christmas this year was a BUTTON bathrobe, a new night gown, and a new pair of slippers with 'backs' for cooler weather. I am getting all of those, plus some other things (including, believe it or not, at least four 'real' books!) but if I didn't get ANYTHING ELSE but this gift, I would be 'over the top' until next Christmas or even beyond. I'm spoiled and I know it ... I spoil him, too, but he's never seen ANYTHING like the spoiling I'm going to give him to thank him for this really PERFECT gift ... but my husband is the REASON I got this particular gift, and he is my 'BEST ALL-TIME EVER CHRISTMAS GIFT' ... and has been for the past 11 years!

Something that I can use, whether it be eating, sleeping, driving, etc. As long as it's something that I can use I am happy. Books are at the top of my list though. I love to read.

A homemade card. It tells me the person is thinking of me, and has taken time to let me know his or her feelings and hopes for me. Can't get better than that.
