Everyone has a purpose on Earth. We are here to make an impact in life wether it be great or small. It is easy for celebrities and the rich and famous to make a claim as to why they were put here on Earth for their accomplishments speak for themselves. For most of us our purpose in life is still at that level yet not noticed by the rest of the world. That is because the world would be a boring place if we were all famous. Think how life would be if we all looked alike, worked the same job, etc... we need variety and each one of us doing something different. In short, that is the meaning of life.

42 is a good answer.
Otherwise, there is no real MEANING of life. The MEANING of life is an illusion. People devote their lives to finding the meaning of life and before they know it, they're dead, and haven't LIVED their life.
We are on this world for one purpose only: To ensure the continued survival of the species.
What we do in the in between time is COMPLETELY up to us. We know full well that we won't be here forever though, so don't waste ANY opportunity, and have as much fun as you can, while you still can!!

We were created by God in order that we might have fellowship with Him. Since the "Fall" sin entered the world and it is sin that keeps us now from have fellowship with God. God provided the answer to our problem. He sent His son to pay the price for your sins and mine that if we accept Him as our savior and repent of our sins God tells us we can once again have fellowship with Him through His Son. The words of Jesus were "I am the Way the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father except by me".It is by God's grace that we can be saved but we must have the faith to believe. If you are interested in pursuing eternal life through Christ I would encourage you to read the book of John in the New Testament. Cheers!
