At worst, he has some iffy ideas about the economy (but then again, NONE of our earlier presidents have ever ruined the economy, have they?)

What have your precious Giuliani, Romney, Hillary, or Obama got that he hasn't? What makes them the new Messiah in your eyes?

Is it really only because "he can't win" that you don't back him up? Then I call you cowards.

Some support his ideas, but want to wait (fence sit) and see if he can pull it off. Some really have a problem with his ideals, and some are really just deluded people with nothing better to do, than spew anti-enteryourcandidate here, non-stop. I think the term is trolls. (I'm not calling you a troll, btw)

I can see a minority of Ron Paul supporters unfortunately fall into the troll category as well (hey, I see things for what they are), but most of them are very informed about their candidate. Something that can't always be said for some of the others.

I forgot to mention how many people DO like him, and then ones that will like him, but just haven't heard of him yet.

I will never support Paul because his ideas can't work and the fact that elimination of the FBI, CIA & IRS are wrong and dangerous.

Besides all that, Paul can't win so why spend energies on a looser!

I just don't understand how otherwise intellegent people will look at the FACTS and still claim that Paul will win in November and that he's our "only hope to beat Hillary."

Get real! A 6% rating with Republicans means he won't get the nonination! I don't care how much money he brings in. The amount of money doesn't equate with the number of votes!

I wish the Paul supporters would stop insulting our intellegence by saying Paul will win. STOP MOCKING US!

i think he's a mover and shaker. he has done successful fund raising in a way no one else has or thought was possible. i think his chances are solid for being president. no one else has been able to get the job of president right and they all have the same lame ideas whether it's A. democrats or B. the republicans. i say lets try C. Ron Paul. i listened to him on t.v. the other night and his ideas are different but they made sense to me and i don't see why they wouldn't work. i think too many people listen to the lies our government has spoon fed us for so long they believe there is no other way to run the government. the thing most people miss is our government is no longer for us and hasn't been for a long time. right now it's, all right constituents here's how we're going to do it and if you don't like it T.S. unless voters grow some *uts and vote for something different our quality of life will continue to deteriorate. Boy, wouldn't that shake up all our politicians on capitol hill to have president ron paul!!!

Thes people who mock Ron Paul and his supporters think that they can change our minds by mocking us. What they don't understand is, that the more they mock us, the more we become entranched in the belief that Ron Paul must win.

If you understand psychology, there is a phenomenon where the opressed people will get together and revolt against the opressors, given enough pressure and discomfort until it reaches a critical point. I think the critical point has reached. If you look at the funds being raised, you will see that the Ron Paul supporters are willing and able to do what they set out to do, and that is, to elect Ron Paul for president.

Ron Paul stands for what he believes in and what he votes for " the Constitution" He is not afraid to speak the truth. He does not change his story according to the polls.
We are all so much like "sheep" that when we hear the truth, or the words of our Constitution that we think it is weird. I was the same way until I read what Ron Paul was saying and realized that it is in line with words and speeches of our founding fathers.
I am so proud to be able to give some money to his election campaign and to have a chance to vote for " freedom"

I agree, all the making fun does not solve a thing. r. Paul although he might be a tad on the weird side he has a couple of points. That our nation has problems that need addressing and that our reps. do not represent "WE THE PEOPLE". Someone needs to come up with something.

Thank you for asking this question. So many people seem to have a deep hatred of Dr. Paul. Most of these people assert that he is a joke. If you really believe that Paul has no chance, why devote so much energy to bashing him and his supporters? I just want to understand the potent venom aimed his way.

No it is because we know that his "iffy" ideas will not get him anywehre near the oval office that he won't win,the other candidates despite their flaws are at least predicatble and as such comfortable to go with, they are all trying to appeal to their respective bases but half the stuff they say won't happen, politics as usual,Ron Paul on the other hand has a history of being irrational,he lives in a world that exists only on paper, however the majority of people live in a different world, the REAL WORLD and thus they don't consider him as a viable option.
