I know that someone else has asked this in a different section, but if you are and it is not by choice, then my thoughts are with you and I will raise a glass to you as I do every Christmas morning at 11am, and to all who cannot be with us. I hope some of you will join me, although it will be tea, as I will be at work.

Shan...I won't be "alone" as such...but my husband will be working from 5:30am till about 7pm. Once he comes home, he and I will have our Christmas together. Fear that I'll be down during the day, tho', so I plan to get on Seniors here and there and share thoughts and wishes with whoever happens to be in the same situation.

Blessings to you....you truly are a dear-heart and a plus to all of us!

What in the worldwide do you advise "kin would not count extensive style"? My kin is two,000 miles away and that i merely desire i need to be with them at Christmas. I spent it with acquaintances although and that replaced right into a blessing. So isn't having an considerable different pondering the only I used to have. No i'm not bitter, merely happy actual. the place do human beings get the belief we must be in pairs until eventually now we are in a place to start enjoying existence? existence is merely too short to look ahead to that.

It's my day to cook for the family. I always have Christmas at my house, that way all the kids and grandkids are together. Life is so busy now a days that alot of time passes and families do not get together as they once did. I dont like to cook, but this is my way of cementing the family together. I hope your day at work is not stressful.

My husband will be here with me. We never know if we will see our daughter or not. Our grandaughter just left for her dads and his parents and will see her two half-sisters and cousins ,so I am happy for her. It doesn't matter to us if we are alone. We kind of enjoy the peace and quiet but I will be thinking of you too Shan, You are so thoughtful. I used to work the Christmas holidays when I was in nursing because it was before we adopted our daughter and everyone else wanted to be home with their kids.
