The spirit of generosity that exists in this country - the USA.
Cynics may scoff at this, but many Americans are still willing to donate to causes at home and around the world. Anything unselfish qualifies as noble in my book.

I think it's pretty noble that our goverment lets us say things like "Bush is an idiot" without getting our door smashed in and take to the Gulag Kim Jong Il style.
