Christmas now a days is completely about the gifts (bigger the better), how much money u spent, Santa and the Elves. I feel like everyone has forgotten the true meaning of Christmas. Now a days its a Sin to even wish people a Merry Christmas we have got accustomed to saying Happy Holidays And Season Greetings!!!!! My Question is are u happy with the way society is now treating Christmas and how are u putting Christ back into Christmas!!!!

I do know that Jesus was born earlier in the year but it is the day set aside to celebrate his birth

I don't do much shopping, but I do a lot of making of gifts. I do most of my Christmas shopping months ahead. That way, I am rarely exposed to the commercial scene. When Christmas approaches, I don't have much to do, so I can focus on my family and the real celebration. We get involved in church activities and go to the candlelight service on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day is a fun day of family and thankfulness for God's gift to us.

Its not a sin . You just went along with it
I won't say Happy Holidays.. When someone says Happy Holidays say Merry Christmas". Ask them if they're working on Dec. 25. If they say no, ask them why. 9 times out of 10 they'll say because its CHRISTMAS. Now you can again say RIGHT, so Merry Christmas. Don't give in too the 14o/o of the country that tell you you can't pray, say Merry Christmas, mention God or whatever. Tell them to "pound salt" (just like they'd tell you) and do what you feel u should. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I keep Christ in my heart all year long and don't need a special day to remember him We use Christmas as a day to celebrate our family and spend time with one another. As mentioned before ther is no where in the Bible that give the actual date of Christ's birth so why not make a point to remember what he has done for us each and every day !

First, let me start by saying that I believe in God. I really do. However, Christmas, ultimatly has nothign to do with him! Read up on it, it's true...it came from a Pagan celebration that Christians just stole. I have no problem with ppl saying Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays. Either is fine with me. For me, though, we like to celebrate the Lord all the time, and we make Christmas about our family and togetherness, instead...Merry Christmas to you and your family!♥
Thumbs down? Its like that? Lol

i'm satisfied i do not stay in Singapore. i quite do not care if human beings set up nativity scenes on their the front lawns or on church belongings, yet having them line the streets of a commercial sector is basically undeniable obnoxious. You do keep in mind that stressful human beings by attempting to stress your faith into the favourite public sq. will cause them to a lot less probably to take heed to what you ought to say? in case you want to succeed in human beings, do not evangelize. Take it from a former Christian, those who continually evangelize seem mentally volatile, virtually as if they prefer to validate their personal beliefs by making anybody else believe a similar element. If someone asks you about it, it truly is one element. yet bothering strangers along with your beliefs basically makes your faith seem undesirable. to cite Saint Francis of Assisi, "pontificate the Gospel in any respect cases. the position necessary, use words". in case you want to surely communicate with human beings, lead by get together. movements communicate louder than words...
