I always use the spell check so the premise of your question is flawed by stating it as you did. Now I am off to spell check this so I don't look like a dummy who can't put two words together.

You can't say nobody spell checks because I always do. There are a few people out there that don't.

My computer automatically spell checks everything I type (I'm a good speller to begin with though). But my guess is people just can't be bothered to hit "Check Spelling" right above the box.

I think there are people who are so sure of their accuracy typing and their ability to spell correctly that using spell check is beneath them

OMG. I didn't know there was a spell check.. Haha. People probably don't use it because it takes too long. Do you use it?

It doesn't always work.
Also since I'm in the UK it tells me things are wrong when they are actually right here !
So now I have an online one that checks everything as I type which is better.

Hey! I use the spell check. I just ignore it sometimes. For effect, you know.
