Okay. This is easy (I have a lot more clothes than that)
First, take all of your clothes to one house. Dump them onto your floor. Then, make 3 piles. One pile for clothes you LIKE/LOVE, a pile for clothes you HATE, and a pile for clothes that you aren't sure about.
After you have 3 piles, re-sort the pile that you aren't sure about. now you should have 2 piles. Take a plastic bag and fill it with the clothes that you don't want. Now you need to start sorting the clothes you like.
Obviously, you need more clothes at your mom's house, since you are there 5 days and only at your dad's 2 days. For each house you need:
-T-shirts
-Jeans
-Dress Shirts
-Dress (es)
-Dress Pants
-Tennis Shoes
-Sandals
-Cute Boots
-Heels
-Flats
-Sweater (s)
-Jacket (s)
-Sweatshirt (s)
-Under-garments
-Skirt (s)
-Cami's
-Tanks
I would keep about 1/4 of the clothes at your dad's that you keep at your mom's.
I sort my clothes by color and type (dressy, casual, etc.)
Put your nicer clothes in the closet and more casual in your dresser.
If you MUST fold your dress, go ahead, but iron it when you wear it.
If you have an item of clothing that you would like to wear while at the parents house that your going to, bring it along.

The way that I was taught was to put like things together - long sleeve shirts, short sleeve shirts, pants, dresses, skirts etc.
I would get rid of anything that I haven't worn in a year or anything that has stains on it.
Make sure that you look through all of your clothes to make sure that they are in good repair, no buttons missing, hems need to be stitched up, etc.
It sounds as if you live with your mom and visit your dad on the weekends.
I would keep the majority of my clothes at my mom's house and keep fewer items at my dad's house. Be sure to keep a few nice things at both houses so that you can dress up if the ocassion presents itself.
I hope that this is of some help - it is hard to do without seeing your closet. Good luck.

just sort out into piles.
i make a: clothes i like pile, clothes that don't fit/ugly, and a not sure pile.
and then when i'm done i got through the not sure pile again to make a better decision.
i like to organization probably doesn't make sense to anyone but me. t-shirts, things i can wear to class. dresses, polos, clothes that look nice. i only hang up shirts in my closet at school because it's smaller.
i fold up my pants and put them a drawer. i have a drawer for sweatpants, and a drawer for t-shirts i never ever wear, but i can't seem to throw away...
and i think that's a fairly good system.
or my other system is to leave everything on the floor...

Go through everything first! Make a pile of what fits and what doesn't--give the "what doesn't fit" to CCA or donate it to the poor. Organize the clothes into tank tops, t-shirts, nice shirts, long sleeve, casual pants (jeans, then sweats), nice pants, dresses. Hang up all nice shirts and pants, but leave the tank tops and t-shirts and the long sleeve shirts in drawers in a dresser. For the mom's house and dad's house part- separate it into two (I would suggest mom's-school clothes. and dad's-comfy, weekend clothes but also some nice stuff to go out in)

Go threw like, all your clothes, and decide what you don't wear and what doesn't fit you anymore, & give it to charity. Then you should have more clothes at your mom's cause your going to be at her's more. You CAN have more of than this if you can at your dad's, but you need all this atleest at his house:
Tops: 6 (3 winter, 3 summer)
Pants or skirts: 4 (You should have atleest 1 pair of jeans cause it goes with everything.
PJ'S: 1 or 2.
Jacket: 1
Panties: About 5 or 6.
Bras: 2
Swim Suite: 1
Socks: About 5
Shoes: 1, mabey 2
Then have the rest at your mom's.
Then ya put them in your vanity. You can keep ypur hair brush and toothbrush and all that in the bathroom. I like to keep my make up in my room though.

final semester i grew to become into truly disorganised for college besides, so I discovered my lesson to be truly prepared. Um, so, those counsel can help. Have some style of schedual caught on your locker or some thing, that has the matters you have on each and daily, so which you recognize what books you like. Have your books of diverse matters in folders, like your textbook, computing device, stuff like that. Have some style of magazine to jot down down homework and dates like attempt or massive assignments that are due. And nicely, this is all I even have. wish I helped :)
