mmmm let's see.
well in my house, every christmas eve we all pile into the car in our PJs with hot cocoa and we drive around the neighborhoods to look at people's christmas lights. then we get back and assemble our version of santa's cookies and milk plate (we like to put an assortment of things cuz cookies can get boring lol....we put out grapes, cheese, chocolate, popcorn, cookies, etc. and fill his mug with a yummy fruit juice) then, my brother (whos younger by 2 years) and i have a tradition that we sleep in the same room on Christmas Eve. and every single year, our dad reads us 'The Night Before Christmas' in front of the fireplace (even though we live in LA!) then my brother and i go lay down, but we can barely fall asleep from excitement. finally we fall asleep for a few hours, but magically we both wake up at nearly the same time every near at about 4 or 5 am and we sneak out to the christmas tree to see the huge load of presents we got!! then to respect my parents wishes to sleep, we go back to our room and just sit talking for about two hours about how excited we are and what we think we got!! then we finally run into our parents bedrooms and jump on their bed to wake them up, and we all run out to the christmas tree to enjoy opening gifts together. after all the presents are done, we have a late breakfast where we all drink mimosas (even the kids!!) and my mom makes 'brad pitt's mom's famous breakfast casserole' ....(dont ask haha it was a recipe in a magazine) and we enjoy a family breakfast together and listen to christmas carols and enjoy eachothers company, our health, and how fortunate we are to be able to have all these gifts! I LOVE CHIRSTMAS AT MY HOUSE!
by the way, im 16 years old and we still do this tradition and i will keep doing it forever...so guys, never feel to old to act like a kid!

properly, previous years it is custom to open on present on Christmas Eve. Then we spend the night with warm cocoa and we bypass out and approximately to work out carolers and such. We often front room around and watch Christmas movies till we are all drained, then we head to mattress. Christmas morning, all of us upward thrust up early and cook dinner cider pancakes and have egg nog and William Maxwell Aitken and sausage and biscuits. Then all of us open presents, and we in basic terms spend the entire day at the same time and with different family contributors.
