G I Statesa lie was told. Let's examine that shall we. Members of both parties in Congress saw the same intelligence that Bush did and voted for war. Now the dems say he lied but they voted for it based on the same info. Wouldn't that make them liars too? I guess besides being mean spirited they have selective memories too.

Try reading a few. I like good honest debate but that is impossible with such hatred.

In response to Joe T......It is not common knowledge or even law. The intelligence agencies report directly to Congress not through the President. And if they weren't privy to the knowledge why did your icons Bill Clinton and John Kerry and Howard Dean all give statements at press conferences that the information is true although they are all backtracking now. Bush messed up the operation after the initial invasion. That is a fair statement but lying is not.

It is as old as dirt tell a lie long enough and loud enough and someone will believe you,the only problem is when somebody disputes what you are saying with facts then you have to stop that person at all costs so you switch to personal attacks instead of a debate of the issues and this is and has been the tactics on Clinton Inc since Bill ran for governor in Arkansas.and finally enough with the stupid one liner stuff I have heard "Bush lied people died"till my ears bleed, can no one remember Somalia and Black Hawk down, and how about Serbia it was a civil war, what threat did this conflict have on the security of America all it did was to wag the dog hello war good by Monica and the lie told under oath,by the way isn't Scooter Libby serving jail time for perjury, why not Slick Willey he lied under oath?

Bush did lie, totally, when he said that "Congress had the same information I did".
It is a KNOWN fact that the President is privy to intelligence that Congress is not. ANYONE in the know on Capital Hill can affirm this for you.
So, by Bush saying that Democrats who voted for the war did so with full knowledge of the facts is a bald-faced lie.
They were not given full disclosure of the evidence at hand. They got the cherry-picked version.
As the fraternity boys said to Flounder in Animal House after they wrecked his brother's car:
"You fvcked up. You trusted us".

Truer words were never spoken...Kinda like " I know you are but what am I..." Most dems only read the headlines. They don't have a clue as to what the real/true story is. "Sound byte-itis". I just agree to disagree. It is interesting to note the ages of these people/kids...(our future). Not that I'm a huge Bush fan or Iraq war fan...but consider this. When was the last terrorist attack on US soil???

I'm Liberal and none of my questions are hateful. And I see a lot of Liberals on here whose questions are not hateful. Just as I see a lot of neo-cons that ask hateful questions and give hateful answers. But not all Conservatives do. Stop stereotyping people. What facts is it you want to know? Post your questions and I'll give you the facts as I know them whether I agree with them or not and give you links to back them up. Give me some of the facts that you have on your side with the links, please. You're briefly ranting you know.

Are you new here? Seriously. Get a clue. Both sides try to dress up insults aimed at the other side as "questions." There's been about a million of them just about Hillary Clinton today alone. Pot, meet kettle.

It's simple.
ALL lib thinking is based on raw emotion.
From an objective viewpoint, I fail to see how any rational thought process could lead to anything but conservatism.
So they go with "GUNZ KILL!!!", "SAV T3H TREEZ!!!", "MOAR TAXES!!!", "N0 WARZ!!!" and "BU$H $UKZ!!!"
