What is in your life that still gives you a sense of hope?

My memories, my mind and my imagination. I can see what I want my life to be.

My memories of someone that I lost, the feeling I felt when they were gone...knowing that I will see them again, one day. The fact it doesn't make sense they're dead in the first place...so there has to be a brighter side.

The earth really, a summer breeze, the sun, things that I can't see but I know they're there.

A rainbow even, science explains how it is formed, but the fact that it is there in the first place. I know there's something out there that's greater.

Hmm what you can do...express yourself to the world and show people who you really are. There's beauty in people...
Make music, art...create something that comes from the heart and that will give me even more hope. Change a child's life, that would give me hope as well.

Believe in something that you never would ever believe in, that would help too.

The question shifts from "you" to "I," and leaves this fellow unclear on the meaning. Are you asking: what is there is my (Christopher's) life that leaves Christopher with a sense of hope, and offering to make my sense of hope stronger?

In that case, I have to say that my sense of hope is strong enough not to need help from random strangers at Y!A, and though I don't doubt the offer of assistance is well intentioned, I must gratefully decline.

Or are you saying that you might learn from Christopher's sense of hope, and thereby strengthen your own?

In that case, I'd like to try to help you, so I'll say this: I am blessed with both fulfilling work and mutuallt supportive personal relationships. Get either of those, and all the little things will take care of themselves.

Nothing. I have absolutely no hope for humanity. I'm only here because I'm a survivor. I've suffered through an extremely rare disfiguring skin condition throughout my teenage years(closely related to acne but much more severe), that left me with pretty serious scars. All I knew growing up was anger and drugs. My parents were regular sociopaths. I was always nice to people, stood up for the little guy, when most people all throughout my schooling were absolute jerks to me and others, not to mention the cruelty from others I received when 80% of my face was covered in hard scabs.

It's almost like something in the universe wants me dead. I wont give it the satisfaction.

Their are millions of things that give me hope. People sometimes think they are hard to find and that life is really hard at times. No, not really. We are so blessed, but humans have gotten spoiled rotten over the years to the point where we get all upset when things don't go our way. I am very optimistic and count my blessings instead of my problems.

not much is needed to give me hope, because i haven't ever needed it for myself. but for others, the smile on my face and the sun every morning is enough to fill everyone with hope. you can help by spreading the cheer! :)
