Which 2 Running backs should I start?
I was thinking Jamal Lewis (@Cin) and Edgerrin James(@Atl)

But I also have Clinton Portis (@Min) and Rudi Johnson (Cle)

Here's the cheatsheet rankings from footballguys.com again. With or without their spin on this, this week is easy for your players.

Rudi Johnson is OUT. His hamstring left him, well, hamstrung I guess. (Link attached...)

Jamal Lewis #6
Edge James - #8
Clinton Portis - #22

Minnesota has a VERY good run defense. Portis will probably struggle considerably against them.

I would definitely play Lewis and James. Two very solid matchups, and I would have no reservations about plugging them into your lineup.

Happy holidays! Good luck...

I agree:

Jamal Lewis (@Cin) and Edgerrin James(@Atl)

Yahoo experts ranked them like this, 1 being the best to start, 4 being the worst:

1. Jamal Lewis
2. Edgerrin James
3. Clinton Portis
4. Rudi Johnson

ESPN experts ranked them a bit differently:

1. Jamal Lewis
2. Rudi Johnson
3. Edgerrin James
4. Clinton Portis

I think Portis should probably be out because he is facing the top rated rush defense in the league in Minnesota. (or they are among the best.)

I wouldn't start Rudi becuase he is inconsistent and the whole Bengal team is struggling.

At least with James, the Arizona offense is still moving the ball consistently and putting up points.

I would stick with Lewis, but I'd also start Portis. Washington is playing for a playoff spot and may be going to Portis quite a bit. Rudi has great potential vs. Cleveland, but Cle is playing for the playoffs as well and may play hard run defense for once. Edge also has a great matchup, so I think you'll be fine with whomever you go with. Take a look at the looks/touches feature on Yahoo and see who has been getting the most carries in the past four game. Also consider the win/loss record of the team and see which RB gets the most out of being up or down in points.

Jamal Lewis against that Cinci D is a great bet. It's a toss up between Edg and Rudi, but I''d avoid Portis, the Vikings D is playing solid and they're hungry for the playoffs so they'll come to play.

No on Portis; MINN has the best run defense by far, like about 25 yards lesser than any other NFL team, and Betts would get the ball at the goal line anyways.

I like Edge this week (he is starting for me). He keeps getting yards and no TD's, but ATL is almost last vs. the run, and I think he'll get over 100 this week.

easy---Jamaal and edge. Look at the opponent! Minnesota and Cleveland are tough, Cinci and Atlanta are not.
