I noticed last night that my right breast is leaking a slightly cloudy substance. It happened when I got out of the shower, and only happens if my breast is squeezed. It's not very much, not even a drop. Barely noticeable, but it has me alittle worried. It only happens with the right breast. My breasts are sore and have grown almost a cup size. Is this something I should be worried about? I'm tempted to drive myself to the ER, because I don't want it to be anything bad, but I don't want to waste the peoples time there if it's something normal, please help!!!!

CALL your doctor. I believe it's completely normal, but for your particular circumstances and for your own piece of mind, talk to your doctor.

I have 3 Children..and nursed them all!! leakin breast in early pregnancy is very normal... the cloudy substance is called colustrum (almost like breast milk) but it contains more vitaimins that the baby will need after the birth...so dont pump or squeeze anymore of it out ....leaking in the shower is fine..its a natural release of pressure(lol)...I would like to recommend a well fitting nursing bra..(even if u r not planning to nurse) a good one will have adjustments to account for breast growth. I do hope u nurse tho..it is a wonder bonding experience!! Congrat on the pregnancy and the best of luck!!

Don't worry about anything. That's your pre milk coming in. It's perfectly natural for them to leak. Both mine did. It usually only happens when bathing because you are very warm. And for some reason warmth does that. And just to let you know. As you get farther along and even after the baby is born. You'll notice your breasts kinda have this tingly sensation right before they start to leak.

Are you sure youre only 7 weeks? Mine started leaking at 14 weeks and I freaked out also. I called the Dr. and was reassured that this was all ok and 'normal' but only because I was further than 12 weeks along. Id get on the phone with your ob or whoever and make sure that your leaking at 7 weeks is also ok. It may be the sign of something more serious.

My friend started having the same symptoms and when she went to the Dr she found out she had I think it was gallacthorrea (it's benign). She was just relieved that she went to get checked. Why don't you do the same? Do not go to the ER but go & see your regular Oby/Gyn. A blood test can tell if you have any hormonal problems that need to be controlled.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

I have never heard of it happening at 7 weeks! But you never know it might be normal, but me or anyone I know never mentioned anything like that, that early in the pregnancy. I would definetly be safe and get it checked out. Good luck!

Go get What To Expect When You Are Expecting, I promise it will help. But you can always ask your doctor. In fact, if you are in doubt, please ask your doctor.
The fact that you are so concerned now is a good sign you will be a great mom.
Good luck and congratulations :)

It happens. Nothing to really worry about, but if you are really concerned at your next appointment ask.
