They have thinned out and look limp. If I water them to much the leaves trun yellow. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Karen

Try cutting them back. That should help make them bushier again.

There are several things you can do. First, check if there is adequate drainage. If these plants sit in water, they don't do well, even though they will sprout roots if cuttings are put in water. Next, check the dirt in the pot. Your plants may need to be re-potted. Throw out all the old dirt, purchase a bag of high quality potting soil, and start over. If neither of these things work for you, plant your philodendron in the yard, or throw it out, and go buy a new plant. They are cheap and easy to find. I have a "graveyard" for old scraggly house plants and you'd be surprised how well they do outdoors. I live in the south so we don't have the harsh winters that would kill them. Good luck.

Philodendron? Money plant?
May be the soil needs loosening up, some organics (compost) and a fairly severe cutting back to three or four nodes.
