I would expect my ex-wife to be at my funeral even now 15 years after our divorce, she was my first love and I hers, there is a bind there that does not get broken by time or other loves. For Dillion and Georgie it was much more recent and much more raw,. I hope they use this to keep Dillion on screen full time we need more Q's less mobsters

In "real life", the actor had time and could use the cash.
In "soap life", why not? They would always love each other and care for the well being of each other. There was no "hate" between them. Georgie & Lulu even were on good terms, as Lulu needed a friend when she decided to terminate her pregnancy of Dylan's baby.
As for me, I'm sad Georgie is gone. I was hoping she & Spinelli would go have some "fun" escapades, in a sort of "Luke & Laura" fashion. But not now. Hmmmmm, could Georgie be a "ghost" for Spinelli ?

He showed up for some adopted cousin (Emily), he showed up (not knowing Georgie had died yet) because he still loved her and cared about her. Should he have gone to Canada without attending the funeral? That would have been rude.

(About the previous post) I'll be SO mad if Georgie comes back as a ghost, we have enough of them on GH. Alan, Emily... yeah no more ghosts, hahah! Her contract is up, so maybe we won't have to worry about ghosts. I'm glad he was there at her funeral. He had better have been! They were friends after all.

even though his contract was up he still signed on to have walk on roles like this one and I think it was very touching that he came they had a lot of history and Georgie is a part of who Dillon was and even though they were divorced they were still very much in love but Georgie pushed him away so he would chase his film career. it was all very romantic.

He should have been there. After all they were still friends. And who knows maybe they would have found their way back to each other.

I would have been pissed if he hadn't been there. She was his first love, and it wasn't that long ago -- plus weren't they "engaged to be engaged" again after the divorce? He still cared about her and even though he treated her like crap for a while, he definitely needed to be there.

Him and Georgie were still friends and I think they still loved each other. I think it was good for everyone that he was there, especially Felicia.

I'm glad, they were still good friends and still cared for eachother. It would have been a let down if he wasn't there.
