I just washed alot of salt off my car and so did the guy or gal in front of me and so on and so forth. What I'm getting at is if everybody is washing salt off their cars and the water is recycled through the car wash aren't we spraying some salt right back on our cars and with pressure too?

most send the water into filters and sediment filters that take oils grease and salts out of the water so it doesn't mess up the pumps and seals.

I'm not sure if they do or not, but think how much that would save on the environment if they do. If they do and are using the same water that is coming through the system the dissolved salt wouldn't have time to accumulate back onto your vehicle.

I don't but I pay a rate for the amount of city water I use and the city recycles the waste water just like in your home the waste water just dumps into the sewer and goes to their treatment plant
