Here are the normal ranges.

hCG levels in weeks from LMP (gestational age)* :

* 3 weeks LMP: 5 - 50 mIU/ml
* 4 weeks LMP: 5 - 426 mIU/ml
* 5 weeks LMP: 18 - 7,340 mIU/ml
* 6 weeks LMP: 1,080 - 56,500 mIU/ml
* 7 - 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 - 229,000 mIU/ml
* 9 - 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 - 288,000 mIU/ml
* 13 - 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 - 254,000 mIU/ml
* 17 - 24 weeks LMP: 4,060 - 165,400 mIU/ml
* 25 - 40 weeks LMP: 3,640 - 117,000 mIU/ml
* Non-pregnant females: <5.0 mIU/ml
* Postmenopausal females: <9.5 mIU/ml

Are you sure you are only 3-4 wks? 1400 is a bit high for that gestational age, unless you are carrying multiples.... CONGRATS on the pregnancy though.

1400 sounds about right for 4 weeks. My hcg levels at 5 weeks 2 days were 6100. As long as they keep going up then that's a good sign. Congrats.

That is fine! At 4 weeks and 3 days my HCG's were at 376 and I was told it was normal for 4 weeks. As long as they are doubling every 2 days or your doctor says otherwise, you are okay. Congrats!

i am about 6 weeks and my level about 4 days ago came back as 12,817.... so its probably fine b cuz my doc told me my levels were ok. have u had another test to compare it with? as long as the levels rise... not go down... thats good. and u could be having multiples..... Good Luck and Congrats

You must have gotten that level from your doctor. Did you ask him or her if it was normal?
