Yes. Always remember strangers are not just giving away money. If you didn't enter a specific lottery or contest, then it's definitely a scam. Just throw it in the trash as fast as you can.

Yes it happens sometimes. This might be as a result of you clicking on adverts while browsing on the Internet, through that they get your email address and start persuading you to get what you don't want. Just ignore and as time goes on they'll be tired and stop persuading you.

chances are its a scam... especially if its like a million quid or something. the other one they do is say to get the money and forward to them via western union..untraceable of course then you owe the bank money! Does it have a website or anything? forward it to the police!

I get one of those emails every other day. I have so much money in my a/c now I do not know what to do with it.

Africa seems awash with money and honest, trusting, people sending money to complete strangers!

If someone asks for your account number so they can deposit money for you, they are trying to TAKE money from you.

I get them all the time. They want you to give your bank details to them so they can...well I don't know what they can do exactly, but they're obviously designed to do something, and it won't be to your advantage.

Ignore it.
