if you live in my state, conn., the county seat would be Hartford and the business day ended about 2 hours ago.

i doubt you live in conn. because we do not call it a country seat. our counties are only used for political and legal divisions. they do not have any power on their own. unlike the south where the county is the same as a city or town in the north.

your county seat should be where politicians go to make laws. or where the main court is for the county.

if you Google your county, you should find a county web page which will tell you where the county seat is.

or just move up here, we only have one capital for the whole state. it is a lot easier.
might take you awhile to figure out the difference between our sheriffs and yours though.
ours only work for the courts.
