The HOF needs to wake up and start inducting more relief pitchers. Goose Gossage and Lee Smith should be inducted. Not only were they great closers, they were lifesavers to their teams!

I'd say Jim Rice, because he was an absolute BEAST for @ 10 years straight, scaring the crap out of pitchers everywhere, and Lee Smith, all time saves leader, until broken late this past season.....relief pitchers don't get enough respect.

Jim Rice, for sure. Way overdue for selection. Not sure what has kept him out over the past years of eligibility. He was a definite plus as a member of the Red Sox. Did all the right things while a ballplayers. He has my vote!

Jim Rice dominated longer than any other player on the ballot during his prime. My second pick would be Tim Raines who was/is incredibly underrated.
