Actually, every year I get the stuff for the Christmas stockings. It is usually junky stuff but it's TRADITION. (My mom always had her whole orange in the toe of her single nylon stocking. I was always afraid the thin stocking would rip!)
"Santa" always brings me some new spoons/kitchen stuff. Now that my daughter is married, Santa brings her new spoons/kitchen stuff.

The *claus* is this, that is not what the Christmas is suppose to be about. UR expected to give gifts.
It's not suppose to be about the gift, but about giving.
I myself do not celebrate Christmas, due to learning more about the Pagan celebration of it.
It is UR choice what you do with the information you learn.
