Bettafix's main ingredient is Melaleuca (tea tree oil), but this isn't a "real" medication - http://www.aquariumguys.com/betta-fix-remedy.html

Super Ich Cure has malachite green and nitrofurazone (an antibiotic which treats bacterial diseases, not parasites, and will kill the beneficial bacteria in your tank - don't use this unnecessarily!) - http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/add_info.cfm?pCatId=16808 , http://www.drugs.com/MMX/Nitrofurazone.html

If your betta has ich, the best thing to use as far as a medication is something that contains both formalin and malachite green. You can also use salt, and non-iodized is preferred. You should also raise the temperature in the tank while treating, because this will speed up the life cycle of the parasite and treatment will be effective faster. Still, be prepared to treat your fish for 10-14 days (or at least 3-5 days after you no longer see any spots on the fish. If you stop too early, the fish might be reinfected by parasites still in the water.

If you change medications, do a series of water changes to remove as much of the previous medication as you can. Also, remember to keep the carbon out of your filter until the treatment is over (it's okay to leave the carbon in if treating with salt).
