I think they were and do not forget weed in the middle.
My sister and I once did a 25 mile walk for charity dressed as them and carried a pole dressed as weed in between us we made costumes out of boxes lol

I don`t believe it was ever mentioned in the original program, but with logical deduction, I`ll say yes because they look so similar, they must be genetically identical twins.
