You can only run one antivirus, or you will have serious problems with conflicts in your system. You can run three or four antispyware if you have the resources. One will always find what the others miss.

I would recommend what I use as it is well known to find what all other miss or unable to delete. Download the free version of Superantispyware. http://www.superantispyware.com

You can also run AVG antispyware if you like.

Or A2Squared Free out of Austria, will protect you from rogue dialers, keyloggers, trace spyware, tracking cookies, etc. etc. http://www.emsisoft.com

AVG Anti-Spyware will greatly increase the detection and removal rates and they will work nicely together, so I recommend you use both of them.

AVG Anti-Spyware does not offer 24/7 protection with the free version though (it does for 30 days, then it disables real-time protection), so it might be worth adding in Spybot S&D or Spyware blaster when the 30 days trial is over.

the compatability inst really an issue. you can download any spyware program and run it with avg... atleast you should be able to. i just wouldnt run them side by side as it is really slow on most computers, and slows down other programs if you are running any. now, if you want the avg spyware program, by all means download it. it is a very soiftware. but if there are others you like better, or rated higher (and are FREE) then get those instead. i would recommend ad-aware se as it works really good on my computer. you dont have to get the same name/brand of software for your anti-s[yware as you do anti-virus. it is recommended by some, but i dont think it really matters. feel free to email me with any questions

Doesn't make it any more compatible. Although it couldn't hurt to download AVG anti-spyware. You can have more than one anti-spyware application but only one anti-virus application.

Running these programs in Safe Mode (tap F8 after powering on the computer and choose to boot to Safe Mode) can be more effective.

they are better than spybot and avg doesn't slow the computer down like a lot of programs.

Doesn't really matter. Just use whichever one or ones you like. They'll all work together.
