On the side of not wanting animals harmed, that is good.
On the other side of not being able to have a pet of any kind is nuts. They would rather see an animal running around wild getting hit by cars and crap than being taking care and loved by a family. What do you think is better ?

No. i think of you're authentic. look at what subjects the media covers. The media very not often promises any style of coverage of abuses of animals. hence, maximum folk think of that each and every little thing is advantageous. i'm a quite conscious individual, and that i replaced into taken aback to verify that, as an occasion, chickens are thoroughly excluded from federal regulations regulating animal slaughter. In our society, out of sight is out of suggestions, and regrettably, the only thank you to advance awareness approximately an argument is to pull the form of gimmicks that PETA does. and you will possibly be able to't deny that it fairly is efficient, they are in all hazard the main nicely-ordinary animal rights team as a results of fact of those approaches. And the animal rights circulate has made some extreme progression interior the previous various a protracted time. might, as an occasion, Spain's selection to grant criminal rights to apes have been remotely achievable even 15 years in the past?

Well, I love animals but with the way the world is going, we are only going to get to see them live in zoos. I see deer and stuff in my backyard. I think hunting is okay ONLY if you eat the animal. For instance, if you kill a bear and put his head and skin on the floor, you had better have eaten the meat. I hear bear meat is icky. And who would eat a cougar? Poor beautiful kitty. I don't think we should use an animal for clothing, UNLESS, we eat the meat, then the rest of the animal should not go to waste. I think that's where I draw the line. Personally, no matter how cute that sweet little harmless lamb is, it sure tastes good on my dinner plate. I love meat and won't stop eating it. I guess the rest I agree with, you know? I won't buy a real fur coat. I inherited one and will wear it, but I won't buy one to make yet another animal give it's life. Take a mink coat for instance. What do they do with all those mink carcasses? Throw them away? I don't think that's right and we are selfish to think it is.

PETA gives great facts about animal cruelty, testing, etc. But they give a bad name to animal activists.
Once they dumped a whole truck load of horse **** in front of Gordon Ramsay's restaurant in England because he showed people how to cook horse meat.
I used to be signed up on their mailing list but they only sent me requests for a donation.
They send all of these under cover workers to places like IAMS and watch animals suffer for several months...instead of helping those animals they use them for a statistic.
Bottom line...I don't like PETA.

Crazy. I mean to each his/her own. I don't try to impose my beliefs on others. But I think the PETA organization go to the extreme. And what exactly are the 'free' animals suppose to do in their 'free' time?

I look at something like PETA as reply to much of the extreme cruelty that has happened and still happens. I don't think something like PETA would be around if there was no reason for it. It sad that it does exist.

I wonder how a member of PETA would feel after being attacked, chased, eaten, etc by an animal..

Crazy. Maybe a deer or a bear will run out in front of their vehicle, go through the windshield and kick them senseless. Maybe they would better understand the difference between humans and animals.

They have their place which involves attracting attention to causes...particularly from young, idealistic people. I loved them when I was in high school.....my views are moderate now, but they (and other organizations like them) got me interested in things I would have never known/heard about.
